Calling all playwrights!
Six players have submitted original monologues to capture the realities of the past several months. Perhaps your subject is the dad at home trying to host an office meeting while teaching division to his fourth grader, or the daughter saying goodbye to her mother in the hospital over zoom, or the grocery worker, or the kindergarten teacher, or the nurse, or the unemployed new homeowner, or the aunt attending her first virtual dinner, or the lady stockpiling hand sanitizer. Maybe it’s funny. Maybe it’s sad. But let’s use these real times to channel our creative voice to pay tribute to all the struggles, laughs, and little victories we have found have brought us together in our isolation.
Please email Heidi by end of December at email@example.com with an original monologue for consideration for an upcoming virtual performance.
